String Quartet No.1 “Traveling” (2014), 7:20
Première in 2015-11-8 by the Valerius Ensemble, Muziekcentrum Enschede. In 2016, the 16th of May, it is performed by an ensemble of the Taurida Orchestra in the Mozart Halle, Hamburg, and the 17th of May in the Synagoge, Deventer, The Netherlands.

String Quartet No.3 “Reflections of the opera Ulrike Meinhof” (2018), 7:15

This quartet is a kind of calling card for the German-language opera ‘Ulrike Meinhof’ based on a libretto by Arnoud Kremers, about the RAF (Red Army Fraction). In the first part the choir announces death. The second part portrays the indignant post-war generation, who do not realize that their children are becoming radicalized. The third part begins with a shot: someone is shot dead in Ulrike’s presence, after which she calls anxiously a friend during her flight.
Performed and registered in 2025 by the Eurasia Quartet: Asia Czaj (violin 1), Egle Kaunietyte (violin 2), Ekaterina Degtyareva (viola) and Stanislav Degtyarev (violoncello).

The Opera “Ulrike Meinhof”
This opera, written for chamber orchestra (100 min.), from a libretto by Arnoud Kremers, is finished in 2009. A concert version of 35 minutes is performed in 2014-1-29 in the Small Philharmonic Hall, Saint Petersburg (Russia), by the Taurida Orchestra conducted by Mikhail Golikov, solist Mattanja van den Bos.

Performed in 2000 by Johanna Kettunnen (flute) and Alice Poulussen (piano).
